The Oak Lane House
6635 North 11th Street. Philadelphia, PA 19126
Owned and administered by (and adjacent to) the Oak Lane Presbyterian Church, the Oak Lane House (OLH) serves as a neighborhood meeting place for civic activities, social events, club doings, meetings, church services, workshops, and retreats. Office space can also be rented. Private functions are also invited, such as weddings, family reunions, birthdays, showers, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
There is also available a spacious back yard that can be used for these types of activities. A garden club, coordinated by Sally McCabe (East Oak Lane neighbor and part of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society), has erected and planted raised gardens.
The OLH will also be used to host homeless families from the Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network.
For more information, contact Harriet Atkerson at 215-888-9018 or Jon Weston at 215-224-4547 or papermanjdw@aol.com.
We hope to see you at the beautiful Oak Lane House!
